How much are your cakes?

Because all of our cakes are custom made, a precise price list is extremely difficult to publish. However, keep in mind that the detailing of the design, the cake flavor, fillings, number of servings or tiers usually determines the price. The more detailed, intricate or complicated a cake is, the greater the price range will be.

Most cakes are $4.00 per serving which include a basic white iced cake with basic decorations. Our sculpted cakes are based on the amount of cake baked for the use of the cake design before sculpting. Sculpted cakes starts at $6.00 per serving.

What's the difference between tiers and layers?

Tiers are different sizes or shaper of cakes stacked upon each other. Layers are the pieces of cake stacked upon each other with a filling or icing between them.

 

 

What is fondant?

Fondant is an icing used to decorate or sculpt cakes and pastries. It is made from sugar, water, gelatin, vegetable fat or shortening and glycerol.

 

 

Do you do deposits?

Yes.

We charge a non- refundable deposit of $50 due 14 days before the date that the customer request.

If the order is placed within 7 days of the pick up date, the full balance will be required within 24 hours. We do ask that the balance on any order is paid in full 4 days before the pick up date. If the balance is not paid on the 3rd day before the order is due, we will cancel the order and no refund or credit will be issued. To reorder a canceled order a late payment fee of $55 will be added.

What form of payment do you accept?

While cash is always welcome, we also accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Cash App and Zelle. We do not accept Food Stamps at this time.

Do you give refunds?

No.

Once your order has been picked up & taken away from our establishment it is considered accepted. We ask that you or your pick up representative look over your cake to be sure that everything is correct. In some instances a if a adjustment needs to be made per mistake of the customer connie's specialty cakes and Desserts may charge a fee to make the corrections. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our premises. We are not responsible for any damages that occur to the order during transportation, set up or any other situation once is has left our property. Your cake will come with instructions on how to carry, transport and store it. Whomever selected to pick up or set up the cake is assumed to be liable for the condition of the cake and or Treats once it leaves our establishment.

What About Allergies or Special request?

Our products may contain or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. It is the customers responsibility to notify your guest of the risk. Connie's Specialty Cakes and Desserts is not liable for any allergic reactions. Some special allergy request such as a strawberry allergy can be accommodated through the customer's request.
